The Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, York, were holding their 'Open Cockpits' event this weekend. Around a dozen aircraft were open to the public to experience the inside of military aircrafts and the chance to sit in the cockpit of many such as the Nimrod, Harrier, Tornado and even the driving seat of an ex-airport Fire Truck from Manchester Airport a Chubb Pathfinder.
