Tulketh Mill Chimney 1925. This photograph, taken by the Post in 1925, found its way into a number of promotional materials. It captures work underway to remove the bell shaped anti-backdraught cap that was fitted to the top of the chimney. Evidently this apparatus did not function as planned and consequently it was decided to remove it together with about 120 tons of masonry. The work was carried
